JNOD are selling R32 inverter swimming pool heat pump, its heating capacity ranges from 5.5-32Kw. So, it will be a problem for user or wholesaler to choose the suitable heating capacity for different pool sizes. Let us show you 2 methods to choose the suitable.
If you do not want to do complicated calculations and do not take into account extreme weather, you can use the following formula: 3KW for 10m⊃3;. For example, if you want to heat a 30CBM pool, (30 CBM÷10CBM)* 3KW = 9KW . So, you can choose the 9.5Kw model.
This method is used to do a very precise calculation on the heating capacity, considering the heating time, water temperature, ambient temperature, etc.
* Step 1: Calculate the needed heating capacity
In the calculation, we usually set the outlet water temperature at 28℃, primary heating time usually is 48hours.
Formula will use: Q=1.163*△t*V ;
W=Q/T
Explanation: Q = Heat Demand (KwH)
△t = Temperature Difference (℃)
V = volume of pool (m³)
W = Heat pump capacity(Kw) - usually will add 15-25% of heat loss
T = Hours for heating (H)
Example: A swimming pool 10*4*1.5m, original temperature is 18℃
Answer: set the target temperature into 28℃, heating hour into 48 hours
Q = 1.163*(28-18)*(10*4*1.5)=697.8 KwH
W= (1+15%) *Q/T=1.15*697.8/48=16.72 KW
*Step 2 : Choose the suitable heating capacity depending on working condition
The heating capacity of a heat pump is not constant; it changes with the ambient temperature. Therefore, after calculating the required heating capacity, we also need to choose the model we need according to the ambient temperature.
Still that sample, we calculate that 16.72Kw is needed. If the ambient temperature is around 24-27℃, you can choose the 17.5Kw model; if ambient temp is around 12-15℃, better to choose 25kw model.
